Advanced quantum physics
The course provides an in-depth treatment of modern quantum mechanics.
This theory is central for the understanding of the structure and
properties of matter. In the course the fundamental concepts, ideas and
tools of quantum mechanics are discussed. The topics include operators
on Hilbert spaces, the theory of angular momentum, symmetry in quantum
physics, approximation methods, identical particles and scattering theory.
In addition an introduction to relativistic quantum mechanics is given.
