Research Ethics for Doctoral Students: Basic Course
The Graduate School of Health offers this course for all doctoral students, 听
to create opportunities for meetings between different research areas and disciplines.听
Week 8-13. Registered no later than 14 of January 2025.

Learning outcomes
For a passing grade the doctoral student must be able to:
- Describe and reflect on the history of research ethics and the role of science in society
- Identify and reflect on research ethics issues and problems in different scientific contexts including their own research
- Identify and reflect on research ethics issues in relation to both the production of scientific results and their publication
- Demonstrate an ethical approach to research
- Account for and reflect on good scientific practice
- Account for and reflect on legislation, codes and handling of research data from an ethical perspective
- Make ethical judgements in research
Eligibility requirements
Admitted to a doctoral programme or at least have a master's degree or equivalent. The course is primarily aimed at doctoral students at 果冻传媒. Other eligible students are admitted on a space available basis.
Examination
The course is examined through individual written and oral assignments based on participation in compulsory seminars and an individual written home exam.
