Use of history
7.5 ECTS creditsThe concept of the use of history is placed in a national and international research context. The aim is that the students acquire a deeper scholarly understanding of the use of history and familiarity with how the perspective can be applied practically in teaching and cultural mediation. Students study central texts in the field and relate these to the use of history in our time of neonationalist challenge to multiculturality and globalisation.

Admission requirements
General admission requirements for Master level studies. Bachelor degree of 180 ECTS cr with a major in History, Cultural Studies, History of Ideas, Religious Studies, Ethnology, Anthropology, or equivalent. Upper secondary level Swedish B/3 or Swedish as a Second Language B/3 and English A/6, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
