Digitalisation
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course is based on a view of digitalisation as a process of change and covers concepts and theories of organisational development and digital transformation. Students acquire a broad understanding of digitalisation, digitally-driven organisational development, and how change management can be conducted. The course covers different perspectives on digitalisation, discussed in terms of both research and practice. Theoretical framework and models are discussed and applied, and students practise analysing concrete cases of digitalisation. The course aims for students to develop their ability to analyse digitalisation and their understanding of how change can be implemented.
Students participate actively in lectures and exercises. The coursework requires students to read the course literature, attend lectures, submit written assignments, and carry out practical exercises and presentations.

A degree of Bachelor with Industrial Engineering and Management as the main field of study, or 105 ECTS credits completed from semesters 1-4 and 22.5 ECTS credits from semester 5 in the Industrial Engineering and Management (TACIE) programme, and IEAD03 Innovation Management, 7.5 ECTS credits, or equivalent
