Electronic music: aesthetics, technique and methodology
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers skills and techniques of producing electronic music, including midi and sound management, audio engineering effects, sampling, synthesizer programming and mixing, and different performance practices.
The course includes listening to and analyzing different genres of electronic music, different types of sound, experiences, and musical patterns. Examples are also discussed and compared in terms of a general historical context.
The course also includes the methodology of teaching electronic music production.
