Practical placement III - early years classes and grades 1-3
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course prepares students for practical placement.
Students engage in the following activites:
-using IT in school
-interpreting and implementing central documents and local pedagogical planning
-documenting, assessing and/or grading pupils' knowledge in relation to educational goals
-applying pedagogical and subject-specific teaching theories with regard to pupils' knowledge, abilities and needs
-planning, leading, carrying out and evaluating longer teaching sequences and participating in all duties required in their future profession
-participating in development efforts
-problematising the cooperation and communication between pupils, guardians and school staff
-analysing and evaluating the teaching profession and their own professional development in relation to previously defined development areas
-practically handling special education needs in conjunction with others.

Courses LPGG01, LPGG02, LPGG04, and LPGG17 completed plus 45 ECTS course credits completed for LPGG06, LPGG07, LPGG08, LPGG13 and LPGG14

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
