Research-Based School Development: Bridging Programme
15.0 ECTS creditsModule 1 Research-based school development, 7.5 ECTS cr
The module treats the following components from a practice and subject education perspective on the basis of accounts, problematisations, applications and discussions of the following:
- different theory of science and theoretical perspectives on the development and evaluation of teaching
- various research and evaluation methods linked to education, teaching, and learning
- national and international research and evaluation results related to school and teacher development projects and their outcomes
- planning a research-based development project in the field of subject-specific education.
The module also prepares for relevant practical placement.
Module 2 Practical Placement 4, 7.5 ECTS cr
In this module, students are expected to:
-interpret and apply central steering documents
-independently plan, lead, conduct, and evaluate teaching which integrates digital resources
-analyse and problematise school improvement projects
-analyse their own professional development in relation to the role of school and relevant theories
-plan and conduct teaching in their own subject using an open-minded, critical approach
