Economics - Master's Thesis (one year)
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course comprises two sections. In section one, the students carry out a scientific research project with the guidance of an appointed supervisor. In the second section, there will be a series of seminars in which the students will defend their own reports, act as opponent to another student's report, and take active part in the discussions of the reports written by other students.
Supervision is only offered to students while the course is in progress. Students who fail to complete the project satisfactorily during this time may re-register at the next course opportunity. They will then be offered additional supervision to the extent made possible by available resources.

Admission requirements
Economics 90 ECTS Credits. At least 30 of these 90 ECTS credits must be earned in basic level courses that have at least 60 ECTS credits as prerequisites. The courses NEGB13 Microeconomics 7,5 ECTS Credits, NEGB14 Macroeconomics 7,5 ECTS Credits, NEGC16 Applied Econometrics 7,5 ECTS Credits and NEGC04 Economics - Bachelor's thesis 15 ECTS Credits or equivalent must be included. Upper Secondary English B, English 6 or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
