Introduction to Commercial Law

Within the framework of the course, a survey of our legal system and its divisions, including EC law, is given. Specific juridical methodology is presented and basic legal terms discussed.
The main focus of the course is civil law. Special attention will be given to agreement law, the law relating to the sale of goods, property law, and association law. The course will also address competition and market law, labour law, credit law, economic family law, security law, insolvency law, procedural law, taxation law, and laws relating to claims of indemnification. The course will also cover administrative law with a focus on the legislation of public administration and, in connection therewith, the regulations concerning publicity and secrecy legislation within public administration together with the law relating to personal data.

Instruction is mainly in the form of lectures and exercises.
