Application period for the Bachelor programme in music: 1 December 2024 - 15 January 2025
Application period for the Master programme in music: 1 December 2024 - 15 January 2025
Application period for Artist Diploma and Interpretation Year: 1 December 2024 - 15 January 2025
Application period for the Music teacher programme: 17 March - 15 April 2025
Application period for the Music production programme: 17 March - 15 April 2025
Application period for Music 60 ECTS: 17 March - 16 April 2025

Entrance exams round 1: submission of videos: February 13 2025.
Entrance exams round 2 and music theory test on site at Ingesund School of Music: March 17 - 19 2025
Official admissions results are sent out in mid-April.

Entrance exams to Music 60 ECTS and MLC

Entrance exams to the music teacher program at the Ingesund School of Music will be conducted on April 28-29 2025.
The videos, work samples, etc. that appear in several tests must be sent to us: Detailed information about each exam will be presented here no later than December 1, 2024. Contact kerstin.ekling@kau.se if you have any questions before then.

Entrance exams, Music teacher programme

In subtest 1, you must submit the skills test by April 16 2025. You will receive a link to this after you have applied for the program.
Those who progress from subtest 1 are called to subtest 2, which consists of performing a music production around given audio files during the allotted time. This test takes place during week 21, end of May, and can be taken either digitally or on site at the Ingesund School of Music.
