Accident investigation - introductory course (5 HP)
The course spans several businesses and touches on different types of accidents and incidents.ÌýCentral in the course is the investigative process and how accident investigations are conducted in agencies and organisations. The course is practical to its nature with several applied tasks and focuses on a common accident investigation method as well as different causes behind why accidents happen. The course is a suitable introduction to you who will work will accident investigations.

Qualified accident investigation methods (7.5 HP)
The course highlights the role of accident investigations in safety work in different sectors at organisational- as well as societal level. The goal with the course is to provide a wide and deep insight in different accident investigation methods, experiences from such methods as well as a theoretical background. One important aspect is also networking and exchange of experience between participants working with investigations in different societal sectors. The course is targeted at you who have an interest in investigations of accidents and incidents and that work in government, public or private enterprises.

Investigative interview – targeted at accident investigation (3 HP)
The site of an accident – and for the accident relevant environments – is the context of this course. The course focuses on communication and interplay between people in general, and in the context of accident investigations where factors such as awareness, perception, memory, forgetfulness, stress an trauma come into play. Conversation methodology and techniques are processed. Investigative interview is targeted at you who work as accident investigator and can be seen as a suitable further development for you who has already attended the Accident investigation or Qualified accident investigation method courses.

Event safety
Event safety I – introductory course (2 HP)
The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge about safety issues with different types of events at an organisational and individual level. The course includes an introduction to the physiological and psychological attributes that act as limits for human safety at events. Relevant terminology and methods for risk analysis and calculations of audience flow are introduced. The course is for staff that work with safety issues in events at public sector, agencies and private ventures. It is currently not possible to take part in this course in the role fo sole proprietor or as a private person.

Event safety II (7.5 HP)
The course aims at providing knowledge in analysis and problem understanding of safety issues connected to events of various kinds, both at organisational and individual levels. The course encompasses the physiological and psychological factors that affect vulnerability of people and takes into account factors such as age and gender. Risk and safety are processed as concepts together with other key concepts such as accident and harm. Risk analysis methods are processed and made tasks of exercises. The course is for personnel that works with safety issues connected to events, in the public sector, agencies or private ventures. The course presupposes and further develops knowledge from Event safety I or similar. It is currently not possible to take part in this course in the role of sole proprietor or as a private person.

Event safety III (7.5 HP)
The course aims at providing deeper knowledge in analysis and problem understanding of safety planning and crowd management in different kinds of events, foremost at the organisational level. The course is for personnel that works with safety issues connected to events, in the public sector, agencies or private ventures. Event safety III is a dynamic and challenging course targeted for you who has previously attended Event safety II. It is currently not possible to take part in this course in the role of sole proprietor or as a private person.

Big Exit – Evacuation planning and management of crowds in public environments (7.5 HP)
The aim of the course is to provide participants with a good foundation to plan and lead their safety-organisations when it comes to evacuation situations. The course provides knowledge on evacuation planning and management of crowds from theoretical and practical perspectives, including steering documents and factors that affect peoples behavior on group and individual levels in normal situations and situations of high flow. Technical aspects of the design of the environment is processed and experiences from historical events is used as a basis for learning through case-studies. The course is targeted at staff working at a strategical level with evacuation planning and management of crowds at public places.

Digital crisis training - method and practice
Digital crisis management tools and methods makes possible to train more often, easier and more flexible, independent of time and space. This course is aimed at staff working with safety issues such as safety coordinators and safety managers or heads of safety in charge of the crisis management or crisis staff of an organisation. The course is also suitable to employees taking part in organisations' crisis organisations.
