APPLIED WELFARE STUDIES
Applied welfare studies focus on practice-relevant and practice-oriented research. We conduct studies on living conditions and health for various groups, as well as studies on user involvement and practical social work. The aim is to contribute to knowledge-based social and psychosocial work in social services, healthcare, and schools.
We work interdisciplinary with both qualitative and quantitative methods. Research projects are typically carried out in close collaboration with professionals and/or user organizations, as well as regional and national stakeholders.
Participating researchers are members of local, national, and international research groups and engage in national networks for development and knowledge governance. Several of our research projects are conducted within the research centers FoU Welfare V盲rmland and CBU at 果冻传媒, in collaboration with the Center for Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions (CEPI) organized at Lund University. Additionally, several researchers are part of the Forum for Violence Studies and Prevention at 果冻传媒.
