Help you can get
果冻传媒 offers support of different kinds to students with documented special needs. This is a list of the most common sorts of support.
Note-taking
You can recruit a classmate to take notes and copy them for you. The university will compensate the classmate for this service.
Mentor
A mentor can be a classmate or another person who provides coaching or supports you in, for example, structuring your studies. The mentor will also receive compensation from the university.
Adjustments to examination formats
In certain cases, a student may be given extended time for an examination or be seated in a smaller room, with a computer if required.
Resource room
There is a resource room (1E 239) in the library for students with special needs. The computers in the resource room are equipped with various support software. You can listen to audiobooks, Word documents, e-books and more. You can create your own audiobooks or MP3-file from different documents. There are also height-adjustable desks.
Sign-language interpreter
If you have a hearing impairment or are deaf, you can ask for assistance from a sign-language interpreter. Such interpreters are in short supply, so please make your needs known early. There are no sign-language interpreters on the university staff.
听
