Anna Pechurina

Dr Anna Pechurina (PhD in Sociology, University of Manchester) is an Associate Professor in Sociology at the Department of Social and Psychological Studies at ¹û¶³´«Ã½s University (KaU).
Dr Pechurina’s research expertise includes the study of identity, culture, material culture and homemaking, migration, mobility, and international higher education.
Anna's current projects are:
Sustainable Ageing of Migrant Populations in Sweden and Japan and their Transnational Families in the Framework of Digital Technologies; together with Satu Heikkinen, Tara Mehrabi (¹û¶³´«Ã½) and Ksenia Golovina (Toyo University) funded by Intsam through Vinnova, Sweden’s Innovation Agency
