Jag Ă€r medlem i KAU-finansieradeÌęKulturvetenskapliga forskargruppen (KuFo) ochÌęansvarade tidigareÌęför det Forte-finansierade ForskarnĂ€tverket för svenska kritiska ras- ochÌęvithetsstudier samt för det VR-finansieradeÌęforskningsprojektet Att rasialisera Sverige: BerĂ€ttelser om en ny svenskhet. Det VR-finansierade forskningsprojektÌęDet svenska r-ordet: AnvĂ€ndningar av och förhandlingar om termerna ras och rasism i samtida svensk internet- och sociala medier-baserad kommunikation pĂ„gick mellan 2020-23 och genomfördes tillsammans med Peter Wikström. Mina forskningsintressen rör kritisk ras- och vithetsforskning, visuella studier och postkolonial teori, kulturstudier och kritisk teori, adoptions- och migrationsforskning samt koreanologi och asienforskning.
Undervisning
Jag undervisar i flera olika campus- och distanskurser pÄ svenska och engelska inom Àmnena interkulturella studier, litteraturvetenskap och genusvetenskap samt seminarieleder och handleder studenter pÄ olika nivÄer.
Samverkan
Jag Àr bl a medlem i Alliance for the Study of Adoption and Culture och Antirasistiska akademin.
Biografi
Jag Àr gymnasieutbildad vid Platenskolan i Motala (humanistisk linje, helklassisk variant) och högskoleutbildad vid Uppsala universitet, Södertörns högskola och Stockholms universitet med en fil kand-examen i iriska och en fil mag-examen i koreanska samt med en fil dr-examen vid sistnÀmnda lÀrosÀte i koreanologi och jag har en docentur i interkulturell pedagogik vid Södertörns högskola. Jag har bl a arbetat som forskare vid MÄngkulturellt centrum i Botkyrka och som lÀrare i interkulturell pedagogik vid Södertörns högskola och innehaft ett flertal tjÀnster och uppdrag i Sydkorea, vid andra svenska högskolor samt utanför högskolevÀrlden.
