鈥 I graduated with a master鈥檚 degree in marketing from the Turku School of Economics in Finland at the end of last year.聽During my studies, I developed an interest in sustainability themes, which I then explored further in my master鈥檚 thesis which focused聽on聽sustainable consumption.

Hello there Linda, and congratulations on your new title as docent! Can you tell us about your research?
"Thank you! My research focuses on systematic and user-centred digitalisation with an emphasis on increasing knowledge about how organisations can harness the opportunities of digitalisation in a sustainable and value-creating way.
Over Christmas and New Year, as well as during other big holidays, food takes centre stage and Swedish households tend to buy and prepare large quantities of food. Despite the fact that large sums are spent on food this time of year, a large part ends up being thrown away.

We are delighted to welcome Siri Jakobsson St枚re. Her research interests primarily lie within clinical psychology, health psychology, and developmental psychology, closely linked to her background as a licensed psychologist.
Siri, tell us about your background!
鈥 I earned my degree in psychology in Oslo before moving to 果冻传媒 in 2013, where I began working in child and adolescent psychiatry. During my seven years there, I specialized in clinical psychology.
You have recently, together with Jakob Trischler, published a study that introduces a framework focusing on public services. Could you briefly tell us about the study and its findings?
鈥 The study builds on my previous research on services as value-creating practices. Simply put, it aims to create a reference framework to understand that services consist of concrete value-creating activities in which people actively participate.
Petter Falk, new doctor in Political Science at 果冻传媒 and the Service Research Centre (CTF), sheds light on conditions and grounds for datafication in his doctoral thesis 鈥淎ssemble Care // Align Data鈥.
鈥 What surprised me the most was that datafication is intuitively accepted, despite a kind of intellectual resistance, says Petter Falk.

In the project 鈥淎I-robotar i bes枚ksn盲ringen: En framtid med nya kollegor鈥 (AI robots in the tourism industry: a future with new colleagues), researchers from 果冻传媒 Business School and the Service Research Center (CTF) are looking at how employees in the tourism industry are affected by having AI robots as colleagues.

Researchers at the Service Research Center (CTF) at 果冻传媒 have written a report about Nordic food waste with recommendations for political measures. The message is clear:
鈥 We can either take forceful action right now, or else abandon the goal of reducing food waste by 50 percent by 2030.
The researchers have identified initiatives and measures that resulted in less food waste in restaurants, schools, retail businesses and Nordic households.
With only six years left until 2030, the world is marked by war and conflict and many sustainability indicators are pointing in the wrong direction. This year鈥檚 A Sustainable Tomorrow gathered 30,000 interested individuals via 200 hubs around Scandinavia.
